Marc O'Reilly - Morality Mortality Album Review

“Morality Mortality” is the brand new album from Marc O’Reilly. Coming off the back of his last successful release “Human Herdings”, Marc continues his amazing form with another gem of an album.

The opening track “Compromise” will blow you away. The pop funk song features some tasty bass and some satisfying fret changes and builds to a heavier rock chorus. This song has everything that Marc’s fans have come accustomed to.

“Blinded By” is funkier than funk itself. You could easily think you are listening to a Stevie Wonder beat. The whole song just exudes confidence and rightly so as it’s a real cracker.

“Steal Love” is another fine track. Marc’s raspy vocals really shine here on this more subdued effort.

Another top quality tune is the brilliant “Healer”. The underlying beat is infectious and the guitar playing is flawless.

Echoes of Ray Lamontagne, Jeff Buckley and Timmy Curran can be found on this album which features 12 songs, all of which are top quality.

Marc O’Reilly may well be the finest singer songwriter in the country. This man is destined for big things and that time will come very soon. Vocally perfect, musically stunning. Morality Mortality is an absolute triumph!

Standout Tracks: Compromise, Blinded By & Healer.
